Tim is the director of SP Strategy. As Head of Services at Sharpe Pritchard, Tim routinely advises on procurement, commercial contracts and strategic public private partnerships.
Tim has long believed that the best way to deliver a project that delivers is to ensure that the commercial and contractual arrangements correspond with what is required operationally. In order to bring together these two sides of the same, Tim has a diploma in Management Studies and is a Prince 2 Practitioner as well as being a solicitor.
Tim advises on projects from inception, business case development through to project realisation through restructuring, procurement, insourcing or recruitment.
Tim’s clients include central government departments, local authorities, registered housing providers and voluntary bodies, private and corporate companies.
Tim frequently advises clients on a wide variety of projects, including property and facilities maintenance, ICT, adult and children’s social care services and education and training services.
Tim brings extensive experience of working in a variety of backgrounds in the public sector, including as Head of Legal Services and Solicitor to the Council where Tim led on the commercial input into projects. He ensures that the objectives of a project are placed at the heart of the transaction and the law is a tool for achieving them and not a hurdle.
Tim is very experienced in providing advice on governance and approval processes within a democratic context, including for senior clients, elected members and ministers
